Roger Waters has moved to quash hopes of a full scale Pink Floyd reunion in the near future, after a series of on-stage hook ups had raised the possibility of Waters, Dave Gilmour and Nick Mason all touring together once again.

The trio, along with Richard Wright who passed away in 2008, last performed together at the Live 8 concert in 2005.

Late last year, Waters, Gilmour and Mason were due to appear at a charity fundraising event before Mason pulled out, while Roger Waters’ current The Wall tour recently brought the ex-bandmates together in London.

However, speaking on Radio 4‘s long running Desert Island Discs series, Waters has now stated that he has ‘no wish’ to ever be apart of Pink Floyd again.

“I’m really glad that I was in that band for the 20 years that I was in it and I really enjoyed it,” he said. “I think we did some great work together but I have no wish to do it ever again.”
