Adele has broken Madonna’s long-standing record to become the female act to spend the most consecutive weeks at number one on the UK Album chart after her second album ‘21’ remained on top for a tenth week, breaking the nine weeks held by Madonna’s 1990 hits collection ‘The Immaculate Collection’. Elsewhere, Radiohead’s latest record ‘King Of Limbs’ debuts at #7, while The Strokes’ ‘Angles’ drops fifteen places to #18. On the UK Singles chart, Adele’s track ‘Someone Like You’ has been knocked off the top, replaced by Jennifer Lopez’ ‘On The Floor’.
