Noel Gallagher launched his UK and Ireland tour in Belfast last night (March 3rd) in the week of the release of his second solo album ‘Chasing Yesterday‘.
Gallagher had played a small warm-up gig at London’s Tufnell Park Dome last month, but yesterday marked his major live return armed with a setlist dominated by High Flying Birds material.
There was though room for Oasis favourites ‘Fade Away‘, ‘Digsy’s Dinner‘, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger‘ and ‘The Masterplan‘, as well as lesser known 2002 b-side ‘Shout It Out Loud‘ and a reworked, acoustic version of ‘Champagne Supernova‘.
The tour continues tonight in Dublin.
