Here we go again. It feels like only two minutes since Kasabian wrapped up Glastonbury 2014 with a typically bombastic headline performance on the Pyramid Stage, but already ticket details have been confirmed for next year’s event.

Standard weekend tickets will be available from 9am (BST) on Sunday, October 5th with a £50 deposit per person. The full price is £220 and the addition of a £5 booking fee. Up to six tickets can be purchased at a time. Before any of this, potential festival-goers will have to register over at glastonburyregistration.co.uk prior to the day of sale.

Last year, Glastonbury enjoyed a record year when over 100,000 tickets were snapped up within one-and-a-half hours. A resale last April of tickets which had either been cancelled or not paid for were then eagerly snapped up inside fifteen minutes.

Iron Maiden, Depeche Mode and Fleetwood Mac were installed as some of the early favourites to headline Glastonbury 2015 while Prince, as always, is also considered a good bet. Oasis still remain prominent in bookies thoughts too with odds offered of around 7/1 for the Gallagher brothers to put their differences aside and reunite on what will be the 20th anniversary of their landmark second album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?‘.
