No less than 58 acts have been added to Brighton’s Great Escape line-up today, with Everything Everything, Tribes and Deap Vally leading the new recruits.
Great Escape is held in venues throughout Brighton during May, with Everything Everything due to perform a special one-off concert at the Brighton Dome during the event.
“The core aim of TGE is to champion new music, and it’s great to be in a position where we can give festival goers an exciting cross-section of new artists to engage with,” Great Escape’s Kat Morris has said. “In our eighth year we are completely focussed on delivering another programme that wholly embodies this ethos, and our initial line-up is full of promise for this year to be one of our best to date.”
Big Deal, Klaxons and PS I Love You are some of the other bands to confirm today, while The 1975, AlunaGeorge, Bastille, Billy Bragg, Chvrches, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Drenge, the Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster and Tom Odell are among those already with a place on the bill.
