The Boxer Rebellion have unveiled details of a new US tour to begin this October, which the band have exclusively told the Live4ever Ezine will be ‘different, bigger and better’.
From today (July 27th), fans will be able to pre-order tickets, and in doing so will be offered a very limited edition, numbered, unique poster for each venue, as well as the band’s new live album ‘Live In Tennessee‘, which was recorded in frontman Nathan Nicholson’s hometown of Maryville on October 12th, 2010.
“We’re really happy to be announcing the live album and tour dates at the same time,” Todd Howe told Live4ever. “The pre-sale is awesome, we’ve been working with some really talented designers to create unique, limited edition posters for each show. These will all be collectors items as the run of posters for each show is tiny.”
“We love touring America and we’re really glad to be coming back again for our biggest tour and at bigger venues. It means a lot after all these years that we can finally do it and it makes such a difference when it’s all heading in the right direction.”
“There were a lot of times in the past, before Union came out, when it wasn’t. So we certainly don’t take it for granted and I think these shows will reflect that. We won’t be rehashing the setlist from the last tour, this tour will be different, bigger and better.”
Meanwhile, the new live album, which comes complete with a choice of four album covers and a digital booklet, has been described as both powerful and sentimental by Todd.
“To have recorded the Maryville show and for it to then be released as an official album is especially great for Nathan I think,” he told Live4ever. “I’m really proud of this live record, it has power, a great track listing and a real vibe to it.”
