Gallagher’s summer of outdoor UK and Ireland shows is now underway after the completion of his joint tour of North America with Ashcroft last month. Ashcroft was also due to support Gallagher at Malahide Castle in Dublin and Belsonic in Belfast this weekend.

The new Spiritualized album And Nothing Hurt has been set for release on September 7th, with Jason Pierce still pondering as to whether it could be his last with the band.

Noel Gallagher was onstage with Jeff Wootton and former Klaxons bassist Jamie Reynolds during a Youth Of The Apocalypse gig in London last week.
The latter pair formed the band with Seye Adelekan, Jay Sharrock, DJ Twiggy Garcia and Young Lazurus last year, making their live debut in May 2017. “We’re taking different backgrounds and cultures and trying to push music forward,” Wootton told NME of the project.

The War On Drugs will bring their 2017 album A Deeper Understanding back to the UK at the end of this year.
Their only headline UK outing of the year is an impressive one for sure, at the O2 Arena in London on December 13th. It’s a significant achievement for the band after A Deeper Understanding kept the widespread acclaim achieved by its predecessor Lost In The Dream flowing.
