Warpaint won’t be in the UK towards the end of this month as originally hoped, thanks to undisclosed ‘family reasons’.
The band delivered the news with a message on Twitter not too long before the tour was due to begin at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on November 29th.
“Dear friends, fans and loved ones,” the messages reads. “We’re very sorry but due to family matters we must rearrange our forthcoming European tour plans. If you already have tickets they’ll still be good for the moved shows and refunds will be available for shows we can’t reschedule.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this causes any of you. Thank you sincerely for your understanding.”
Tickets will still be available when the dates are rescheduled. Bournemouth, Gateshead, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham are the other cities to have missed out.
Warpaint released their self-titled second album right back at the start of this year.
