We’ve got another track from the new Villagers album today – check out ‘The Soul Serene’ below.
Conor O’Brien is releasing his latest Villagers album ‘Darling Arithmetic‘ on April 13th and has already shared ‘Hot Scary Summer’. Both are the result of recording sessions in a converted barn loft in Malahide, near Dublin. The follow-up to 2013’s ‘{Awayland}‘ deals with ‘desire, obsession, lust, loneliness and confusion, and deeper into philosophical and existential territory, across a cast of lovers, friends, family and even strangers’.
It’ll be pushed via long tour of Europe which starts just before release in Rotterdam on April 11th. He’ll end back in Ireland at the Belfast Mandela Hall on May 25th. If you missed them earlier, the dates are outlined in full below.
