Back on the road in support of ‘Butterfly House’, their first album in three years which was released this week, Liverpool’s The Coral (pic) are set to play a series of dates across the UK following their spot at Scotland’s T In The Park festival last weekend. Their new album is the first without influential guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones, but if first single ‘1000 Years’ is an indicator of the quality of the new record, the departure has done nothing to scupper the group’s knack for well crafted, melodic pop tunes.
