House Of Jealous Lovers. If your weekends during the previous decade never went by without a dance to this track, you’ll probably be excited to learn that The Rapture are back for a show at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, the venue which hosted their last live outing in 2012.
“It’s been this long gritty road trying to figure out how to be a father and a husband which seemed a lot more important than standing on stage in front of anyone,” Luke Jenner has written on Facebook (via CoS).
“We went to therapy, we talked it out, it’s still a little weird, but I couldn’t do it if I didn’t feel like it was gonna be some kinda personal progress.
“Anyway, I hope there is a long future for us and we can build something new. Maybe you will join us someplace along the way again.”
The Rapture dissolved in 2014 but will make their return in Brooklyn on April 30th in anticipation of an appearance at the inaugural Just Like Heaven Festival in Long Beach, California on May 4th. Heading up that event are the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, MGMT and Beach House.
