The Dunwells‘ second studio album ‘Light Up The Sky’ has been set for release on February 26th next year.
The band enlisted various producers during their time in the studio, namely Steve Harris who’s best known for his work with Kodaline, Manny Marroquin and Dan McDougall, who has worked with Aurora, the singer whose cover of the Oasis b-side ‘Half The World Away‘ is currently soundtracking the John Lewis Christmas advert.
“This is an album full of heart felt lyrics and powerful melodies, singer Joe says.
“It’s an album of hope, struggles with everyday life, sadness, happiness, honesty, the desire for more. It’s about being a human being with the same emotions as everyone else.”

Meanwhile, The Dunwells were among the 215 acts to be this week newly confirmed for the 2016 South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. They join the likes of Hooton Tennis Club, Mercury Rev, White Lung, Crystal Castles and Yuck on the already hugely expansive bill.
