Some cracking new bands have been added to the Handmade Festival in Leicester, which unveiled an equally impressive first wave last month when Twin Atlantic, Frightened Rabbit, British Sea Power, Pulled Apart By Horses and Idles were among those confirmed.
Joining them now are Shame, Cabbage and Life – all a part of Live4ever’s Best Of 2016 series – as well as Happyness, Superfood, God Damn and plenty more.
Handmade will be at Leicester’s O2 Academy for two days of music, comedy, art, film, performance and photography on 29th and 30th April – co-organiser John Helps has previously said: “It feels so good to finally get this announcement out in to the world,” he says.
“Handmade has grown every year since we started it in 2013, but this feels like our biggest step to date as we move in to the main room of O2 Academy Leicester, as well as the many other spaces around the Academy and Attenborough Arts Centre.”
“We could not be more excited about the line-up, and this is just a flavour of what you can expect across the two days.”
