As predicted, Pink Floyd‘s ‘The Endless River’ has become Amazon’s most pre-ordered album of all time.
Gleefully overtaking One Direction, Robbie Williams and Take That in the process, Pink Floyd’s forthcoming album is now the most anticipated seen by the online market ahead of its release next week.
“That Pink Floyd’s ‘The Endless River’ could become the most pre-ordered album of all time on Amazon.co.uk, following other artists like One Direction and Robbie Williams who have held that top spot, is a testament to the strength and diversity of the UK music scene,” Amazon’s director of EU digital music Steve Bernstein said last month.
Obviously it’s now also 2014’s most pre-ordered album. Just behind on that particular list are Coldplay‘s ‘Ghost Stories‘, Bruce Springsteen‘s ‘High Hopes‘ and Paolo Nutini’s ‘Caustic Love‘.
