Paul McCartney has unveiled the first live dates for his new solo album Egypt Station.
Canadian gigs in Quebec, Montreal, Winnipeg and Edmonton will take place in September after the Beatle releases his first solo LP since 2013’s New that month through Capitol Records. “I liked the words ‘Egypt Station’,” he’s previously said.
“It reminded me of the ‘album’ albums we used to make…Egypt Station starts off at the station on the first song and then each song is like a different station. So it gives us some idea to base all the songs around that. I think of it as a dream location that the music emanates from.”
Tour dates:

20 – Montreal, QC, Bell Centre
28 – Winnipeg, MB, Bell MTS Place
