Paul McCartney has been doing some serious reminiscing since kick-starting the promotional trail for his new album Egypt Station, whether it be taking a ride through Liverpool with James Corden (patience of a saint) or joining thousands of tourists at the crossing outside Abbey Road (this time not bare-footed).
Next on the list is the Cavern Club, where he played a special one-off gig yesterday packed full of Beatles favourites and early rock and roll numbers which helped to make the Fab Four one of the most popular bands in Liverpool from their Cavern base before the rest of the world caught on.
McCartney will release Egypt Station in September.
