The original Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster line-up has reformed and will embark on a comeback tour of the UK this October.
The band, who enjoyed a period of commercial success around the time of the so-called New Rock Revolution with their first two studio albums ‘Horse Of The Dog‘ and ‘The Royal Society‘ in 2002 and 2004 respectively, will tour those two albums with three UK dates after the return of original members Marc Norris and Andy Huxley was confirmed today (June 19th).
In the wake of the departures of Norris and Huxley, the remaining bandmates confirmed their split in November 2010, not long after the release of the ‘Blood and Fire‘ record.
Eighties Matchbox will also re-release the single ‘Chicken‘ on August 20th as the track continues to clock up the hits on YouTube after it was picked for the current Nike advertising campaign My Time Is Now, which has been viewed nearly 18 million times on the website.
