Muse were in Mexico last night (November 17th) to kick off the hugely ambitious world tour behind their 2015 ‘Drones‘ album.
It gave fans a first chance to sample the outlandish stage design and production which has been built for the tour, and which has drawn comparisons to U2‘s 360 vision which delivered the band the highest grossing tour in history by the time it concluded in July 2011.
If music can sometimes seem like an afterthought on tours such as this, the band did their best to keep that end of the bargain up by including many past stadium-sized favourites such as ‘Plug In Baby‘, ‘Hysteria‘ and ‘Supermassive Black Hole‘.
Muse arrive in the UK from next April for arena dates which include five nights at the O2 in London.
