Kurt Vile has set his new album Bottle It In for release on October 12th.
“It’s like that moment on the airplane,” Vile says of the LP, “when you’re on your way somewhere and you have that burst of panic. When you’re terrified of dying, that’s when you want people to know you love them.”
Its next single, the expansive Bassackwards, has also been unveiled today with European, UK and North American tour dates set to keep Vile busy for the rest of the year once they get underway in Hamburg next month.
