Kings Of Leon are the latest act to be confirmed for British Summer Time 2017.
“It’s always a pleasure to party with our amazing fans at Hyde Park,” drummer Nathan Followill has said after the band were signed up for July 6th next year with initial support from Pixies and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
Kings Of Leon are the third headliner to be announced for next year, joining Green Day and Phil Collins, after they finally achieved a number one success in their homeland thanks to WALLS last month. It’s success replicated and much more long standing in the UK – something which frontman Caleb Followill said they wanted to address on this new record.
“We were definitely going for it and trying really hard, but we got into a comfort zone,” he told NME. “We’ve tried to peel that away on this album, by not using the same producer and doing it in our studio.”
