The Kaiser Chiefs have been revealed as the latest band to take part in the Forest Live series of gigs promoted by the Forestry Commission.
“As a band we’ve always loved to play outdoors, we’ve done fields, parks, farms, rooftops, beaches and back gardens, but this will be the first time we’ve played in a forest,” comments frontman Ricky Wilson.
“If you go down to the woods this summer, you’re sure of a big surprise. We’re really looking forward to being part of Forest Live.”
The shows will start on June 17th in Gloucestershire, and also visit Kent, Yorkshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire up to July 10th.
Kaiser Chiefs’ most recent studio album is ‘Education, Education, Education & War‘ – a UK number one in March 2014.
