The debut Heavy Stereo album has been unavailable for some time since its original release on Creation Records in 1996.
Heavy Stereo’s Déjà Voodoo album is to be re-released on its 25th anniversary.
Vinyl and CD versions are being made available from August 13th, the vinyl edition a recreation of the original 12-track version while the 2CD set is to also carry the non-album single Sleep Freak, along with B-sides, bonus tracks and a cover of The Jam’s The Gift.
Somewhat lost in the fog of Creation’s nineties commercial heyday, Heavy Stereo and Déjà Voodoo began to find a new audience upon the addition of the band’s frontman and songwriter Gem Archer to Oasis in 1999.
