Singer-songwriter Sam Duckworth, better known as Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, has made a new track available on his official website. Entitled ‘Morning Light‘, the song can be downloaded at getcapewearcapefly.com and is set to appear on his new LP which is due for release on September 13th.
The new album will be his first since 2008’s ‘Searching For The Hows and Whys‘, which followed the 2006 debut ‘The Chronicles Of a Bohemian Teenager‘. Speaking about his return, Sam has said: “After a 2 year studio stint, I’m happy to be able to start the journey toward the record coming out, by offering you a free download in Morning Light. I am also pleased to announce a handful of shows to give you all a first taste of the record and to dust off some of the songs from the previous 2 albums. I hope you enjoy the song, can make the shows and I look forward to seeing you over the summer.”
In addition to the new track, the singer has also released details of a UK tour to begin later this month, which will take in appearances at the Glastonbury and Cockermouth festivals amongst others.
