Fiona-Lee previews her second EP ‘Every Woman’.

Fiona-Lee‘s new single Not My Friends is about, ‘trying to fill an emotional void at any cost to avoid feeling alone’.

It came from a time when I was investing in the wrong relationships with the wrong people and accepting less than I deserved because of the ‘something is better than nothing’ mindset. That fear of loneliness can be a hard cycle to break, even when you’re fully aware of it.

“At its heart, Not My Friends is about self-awareness, recognising misplaced attachments, and having self compassion for when you fall back into those habits.”

With Every Woman due for release on April 17th, some headline UK gigs have been booked for later that month in Hull, London and Manchester ahead of outdoor appearances during the spring and summer including spots backing Paul Weller in Shropshire and The Maccabees at Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds.
