Death Cab For Cutie by Shervin Lainez
Death Cab For Cutie unveil their eleventh studio album after moving to ANTI- Records.
Death Cab For Cutie have confirmed the release of I Built You A Tower on June 5th after sessions with John Congleton during three weeks of recording primarily at Animal Rites in Los Angeles.
“Riptides is about the challenge of dealing with personal struggles as the world around us experiences tragedy and loss on an unfathomable scale, and how when these two elements intertwine themselves in our psyches, it feels utterly paralyzing,” Benjamin Gibbard has said of its lead single.
Meanwhile, after an appearance at Outside Days in Denver on May 29th, the band will spend the summer touring North America with support variously from Jay Som, Japanese Breakfast, Nation Of Language and Lala Lala, while a UK and European run is booked for September and early October.
