Deap Vally have shared the first fruits of their recording sessions with Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner in the form of ‘Royal Jelly’, which can be seen below.
The promo was directed by Jess Holzworth, stars Georgia May Jagger and features a brief cameo from Zimmer as Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards‘ follow-up to the 2013 debut album ‘Sistrionix‘ edges closer.
The duo thanked Zinner with a message on Instagram earlier this year when their studio time together came to an end, describing the sessions as ‘an epic adventure’.
“Nick, it’s been a true honor and an epic adventure making this record with you,” they wrote. “Thank you for inspiring us, pushing us to be our best, and for putting up with us. Thank you for sharing your magic with us. We kind of can’t believe it’s over. We love you and will miss you.
