Biffy Clyro have shared the version of Black Chandelier which will feature on their MTV Unplugged: Live At Roundhouse London album.
The album was recorded in concert last November and will relaunch the famous series on May 25th – the same day the concert airs on TV. A promotional tour then takes the band to Dublin, Belfast, Cardiff, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester and London in September.
This all keeps Biffy Clyro’s busy 2018 going, what with a movie soundtrack and eighth studio album being worked on too. “We’re working on two records,” Simon Neil told Kerrang!. “One is for a movie directed by Jamie Adams, based around the songs on an album we’re making.”
“Unfortunately, timing-wise this has impacted our ‘Ellipsis’ companion record, because there aren’t enough days in the year. The film will be named after the record and will share some dialogue and lyrics. The record will influence the film and then feed back to the music.”
