The Dead Weather have offered up a brief glimpse of new track ‘I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)‘ ahead of the release of their first album in five years next month.
‘Dodge & Burn‘ is out on September 25th through Jack White‘s Third Man label after a string of single releases since White first discussed his intention to return to the band last year.
In fact, a press release has previously said the LP came about after White – together with bandmates Alison Mosshart, guitarist Dean Fertita and bassist Jack Lawrence – spent, ‘rare and sporadic free moments over the past year recording together in Nashville’.
In keeping with White’s well documented ‘retirement’ from live performance, the statement also revealed that, ‘with the members of the band heavily involved in other projects, The Dead Weather will not be touring in support of the new album’.
