Public Service Broadcasting release their new album on September 24th.

Public Service Broadcasting have shared the next track from their forthcoming Bright Magic LP.

Featuring Andreya Casablanca, Blue Heaven was inspired by Marlene Dietrich and how, according to J. Willgoose, Esq., she was a, ‘self-made myth to come out of Berlin’.

“The lyrics highlight her power of self-manipulation, her ambition, her bravery and her lack of compromise on vital matters of character – ‘I am all my own invention / I’m in my blue heaven’ and so on,” he continues.

“It’s named after the jazz number My Blue Heaven which she sang regularly and which she said first made her dream of America.”

As is customary with PSB, the new album keeps this Berlin theme running throughout, over the course of three parts entitled Building A City / Building A Myth / Bright Magic.
