Paul Weller released his latest studio album back in the summer.

Those with tickets to Paul Weller‘s March 2021 UK tour will have to wait a bit longer to sample his On Sunset album in a live setting.

That run is now due to take place in November and December next year, while three new dates have been added in Bath, Sheffield and Lincoln.

It means the late spring and summer of 2021, almost exactly a year on from Weller’s fifteenth solo record, is to herald the start of its touring, at Plymouth Pavilions on June 24th.

“Ironically for someone regarded as one of the most insightful lyricists during his time in The Jam, Paul Weller is no longer particularly heralded for this talent,” our album review reads.

“Yet, he’s no less powerful in his seventh decade, albeit understandably more sanguine: the wistful Village could be the final song in the film of his life (‘saw myself for what I am, found the whole world in my hands’), while on the Ziggy Stardust-esque Rockets, which screams ‘grand finale’, he rails once more against the establishment (‘nothing in the chambers is worth nothing at all’).”
