Primavera Sound might already have plans in place for 2021, but there’s of course still a big hole this year where its 20th anniversary celebrations should have been. To help fill it at least partially, some of the organisers’ favourites sets from years gone by are continuing to be streamed today.

Sets from Sharon Van Etten, Christine & The Queens and Caribou will be available to those today who sign up for the replays, with Angel Olsen, Jamie xx and Metronomy up tomorrow.

“Today we should be dancing together in Parc del Forum, so we deserve a celebration,” they wrote on social media. “Join us this weekend on PS Life and stream some shows we really love from the history of our festival.”

The Strokes and Tyler, The Creator are two of the major artists who’ve re-signed on the dotted line to play Primavera next year after the enforced cancellation was confirmed last month.

“With the whole world on pause due to the evolution of the global pandemic and with the live music sector holding its breath facing a summer without festivals, we can only look forward: towards 2021, specifically, the year in which we are going to recover everything that will be pending from 2020,” a statement read.

“So, we are especially proud to announce that the first names in the Primavera Sound Barcelona 2021 line-up feature a majority of artists who reconfirm their presence at the festival, as well as the occasional very special new addition. A first selection of artists that condenses the spirit of the festival for an edition that is as long awaited as this 20th anniversary edition is, and that will be updated soon with new names, both from the 2020 lineup and new surprises.”
