The Strokes are pressing on with the release of their next album The New Abnormal, and have unveiled a final preview before it comes out later this week.

Brooklyn Bridge To Chorus continues on from previous cuts such as Bad Decisions and Ode To The Mets, the latter of which was premiered during the band’s new year gig at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, when Julian Casablancas first spoke of their intention to follow-up 2013’s Comedown Machine after ‘taking the 2010s off’.

“Yeah, we’ve got a new album coming out soon,” he said. “2020, here we come. The 2010s, whatever the fuck they’re called, we took them off. And now we’ve been unfrozen and we’re back.”

“If you really love someone, you’ll be frozen with them. You know what? I don’t know what I say generally, and I ramble a lot, but I love you guys, and it’s a real honor to share the stage and this night with you guys.”
