Blossoms have revealed their next album Foolish Loving Spaces will be released on January 31st next year.

Recorded at Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios, and The New Yard and Studio 94 in their hometown of Stockport with producers James Skelly and Rich Turvey, the album contains the recent radio regular Your Girlfriend.

The 20th anniversary of The Chemical Brothers‘ Surrender album will be marked on November 22nd with a reissue including deluxe 3CDs and 4LP boxsets.

Fondly remembered for the anthem Hey Boy Hey Girl and Let Forever Be, just one of their essential collaborations with Noel Gallagher, Surrender also enlisted the talents of Bernard Sumner, Hope Sandoval and Jonathan Donahue.

Michael Stipe has released his first piece of solo music since the end of R.E.M. back in 2011.

Your Capricious Soul was made available exclusively from Stipe’s website from Saturday, October 5th with proceeds going towards the climate change action group Extinction Rebellion. “I took a long break from music, and I wanted to jump back in,” Stipe has said.

Kanye West has announced the release of a documentary on the making of his new album as fans wait patiently for its release.

At the time of writing, Jesus Is King has still make itself known despite Kanye setting two release dates this past week, but the documentary of the same name does have some more concrete details behind it and is set to premiere at IMAX theaters on Friday, October 25th.

The Beatles‘ Abbey Road is back at the top of the UK Album Chart after being re-released on its 50th anniversary.

The final studio album to be recorded by the band, it knocks one of the Fab Four’s staunchest disciples, Liam Gallagher, down to #2 with Lewis Capaldi enjoying another strong week on the chart, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent one further place back.
