Bombay Bicycle Club‘s gradual return this year has culminated with the unveiling of a new studio album.

After announcing their comeback right at the start of 2019, a handful of live dates were played recently and plans to tour their debut album I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose on its 10th anniversary put in place.

And after some new material – Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You) – was premiered a week ago, a first studio album since 2014’s So Long, See You Tomorrow has been confirmed for release on January 17th, 2020.

“This is an album for anyone who’s ever turned to music in a time of crisis, whether personal or political,” they say of Everything Else Has Gone Wrong. “It’s about the solace one can get from listening to music or playing music when everything else has gone wrong.”

“It’s about finding kernels of hope and renewal in dire situations.”
