“One word I had in mind for this record was ‘psychedelic’, a dreamy, otherworldly feel,” Isobel Campbell has said after making her return today with the new album There Is No Other.
The LP is set to arrive on January 31st next year, 14 years on from her last solo album. The time in between brought a trio of excellent releases with Mark Lanegan, while marriage and a move to Los Angeles represented personal change for Campbell too.
A European tour will begin in Leeds shortly before There Is No Other’s release.
