Bruce Springsteen has premiered a video for the title-track of his Western Stars album upon its release today.

Springsteen has previously said his new record ‘is a return to solo recordings featuring character driven songs and sweeping, cinematic orchestral arrangements, a jewel box of a record’. It features 13 tracks produced by Springsteen with Ron Aniello.

He plays bass, keyboard and other instruments, with more arrangements and contributions coming from over 20 other musicians including David Sancious, Charlie Giordano and Soozie Tyrell, all mixed by multiple Grammy winner Tom Elmhirst and recorded primarily at Springsteen’s home studio in New Jersey.

The Western Stars video is the second from the album to have been directed by Thom Zimny, and presents performance footage and vignettes recorded in Joshua Tree, California.
