Fans who’ll be rushing to get tickets for Liam Gallagher‘s gig at the Irish Independent Park in Cork this coming June can expect some new songs to be on display.
Gallagher was on Twitter yesterday after the concert’s announcement, and when asked whether any new material would be aired replied ‘of course’. Gallagher also revealed there will be more recordings sessions for his second solo album in March as he looks to continue the renaissance sparked by 2017’s debut As You Were.
“Acquiring the help of esteemed songwriter and producer Greg Kurstin (Beck, Tegan and Sara, Foo Fighters) to add creative and technical flair to an undoubted vocal prevalence, there is a notable bridging of the gap on much of a record where both lyrical astuteness and biting vocals meet with enticing effect,” Live4ever’s review reads.
“Liam-penned Bold begins as a straightforward three-chord chugging guitar track, singing of a romance being futilely chased before an arresting bridge shifts the song out of its comfort zone and down a side street of Ian Brown-esque cries.”
Of course
