Paul Weller and New Order will play Trinity College in Dublin next year for the city’s Summer Series.
Weller has been lined up to headline the venue on July 4th 2019, with New Order due for a long-awaited return to Dublin on July 7th.
New Order just recently played their only UK show of this year, while Paul Weller’s 2019 is already shaping up quite nicely with a Forest Live tour also coming up in June and July to continue his True Meanings touring. “The album sounds the way it does because of one song,” he told GQ of his latest solo album.
“There’s a tune on the album called ‘Gravity’, about four songs in, which I love, and everyone who heard it really loves that tune. It’s been around for five or six years, so I kind of built the album around it, to build a home for it almost.”
