Liam Gallagher has added another European festival outing to his 2017 solo plans.
Already on the line-up for Norway’s Bergenfest between June 14th-17th, Gallagher will now also play the Les Ardentes Festival in Belgium on July 9th – a new addition to the event along with Placebo, Mac Miller and others.
The former Oasis frontman’s debut solo LP is expected at some point this year, containing ‘good songs, good vocals, rock n’ roll, stuff you won’t have to think too much about’, according to an interview with Metro in September 2016.
“I’ve done the Beady Eye thing and that didn’t come off and I thought maybe I’ll just have a break, but I wrote these songs and I thought, ‘what else can I do?’,” he continued.
Can’t wait until this exciting solo project from LG….. Bring it on down ????
He should make a ‘way-out’, psychedelic, trip-fest … the kind of album that NG doesn’t have the balls to make!! Get Amorphous involved too.
