The Libertines‘ comeback will immediately continue into 2016 with a UK arena tour starting at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on January 21st.
With their new album ‘Anthems For Doomed Youth‘ out this week, the band have confirmed a total of seven dates for the first month of next year, culminating at the O2 in London on January 30th.
According to the midweek update, The Libertines are locked in a three-way battle for the next UK number one album with Bring Me The Horizon and Stereophonics, though the week has been dominated instead by the health of Pete Doherty, who according to a statement suffered a ‘severe anxiety attack’ before a concert in London on September 10th.
After seeking support, he has since returned to the stage at Lollapalooza in Berlin.
