Head over to The Guardian where Kele Okereke‘s new album ‘Trick‘ is streaming in full ahead of its official release on Monday (October 13th).
‘Trick’ is Kele’s second solo album after he returned rather briefly to the Bloc Party fold not too long after his maiden solo effort ‘The Boxer‘ was released in 2010.
Also on October 13th, he’ll launch the record at the Jack Rocks The Macbeth evening in London, a new night of gigs, workshops and Q&As arranged in association with Spotify and NME.
“With the live show, we’re going to try something different with how the songs are performed,” Okereke has said of playing the album live. “It’s an experiment. It’s not a classic gig performance at the moment it’s going to be more of a DJ set experience. I’ll be performing and singing but it’s going to be quite seamlessly edited together. It’s something I’ve never really done before.”
