The Arctic Monkeys have unveiled the artwork for their upcoming fifth studio effort ‘AM‘ (pic).
The sleeve was revealed with a short post on Twitter which reads, “Here’s the artwork for ‘AM’, released on 9th Sept 2013,” and directly continues the theme of the official video which accompanied the album’s first single ‘Do I Wanna Know?‘.
Meanwhile, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme – who produced a large portion of the Arctics’ 2009 LP ‘Humbug‘ – has contributed vocals to their new album, and described it as a ‘really cool record’ when speaking at the Rock For People festival in the Czech Republic last week.
“I sang on the new Arctic Monkeys record,” he said. “It’s a really cool, sexy after-midnight record. It’s called ‘AM’, so I guess that’s really obvious. And it’s really good. It’s really good. It’s not disco but it’s like a modern, dancefloor sexy record. It’s really good.”
