Miles Kane has said a new Last Shadow Puppets album remains a distinct possibility once he and Alex Turner are able to clear their diaries.

Kane and the Arctic Monkeys frontman were showered with praise after the release of their debut long player ‘The Age Of The Understatement‘ in 2008, but have yet to commit to any further action. Since then, Alex Turner has enjoyed continued glory with the Arctic Monkeys, while Miles Kane is finding increasing success with his solo venture.

However, speaking to NME this week as he gears up for the release of his second solo album ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are‘, Kane has talked up the chances of the pair getting together once again to record a fresh batch of material.

“I think the plan is to release something again, for sure,” Kane declares. “Since we did that Alex has been busy and I had to find my feet with being on my own. If it comes after the end of this cycle and the end of his next record we’ll probably be both ready and really up for it. It’s just on the sidelines, there’s nothing written for it.”
