Scottish band Glasvegas have unveiled the title of their upcoming second studio album, the follow-up to the 2008 self-titled debut.

Due for release this Spring, the album will be called ‘EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\‘, and has been recorded in both Los Angeles and London with U2 cohort Flood.

The new record will be Glasvegas’ first since the departure of their drummer Caroline McKay, who left the group earlier last year, citing the pressures of life in a rock n roll band as a reason for her decision to quit. She has been replaced by Swedish drummer Jonna Löfgren.

Glasvegas are currently on a low-key Scottish tour which began last week in Orkney. They are due to play Oban Corran Halls tonight, after which they will move on to Dunoon, Troon and the Hawick Town Hall, before finishing with a show in Dunfermline on January 15th.
