Florence & The Machine‘s third album is edging closer after a private listening session was held in London yesterday (February 9th).
Friends and family of Florence Welch were invited to the party according to reports, when new tracks ‘Ship To Wreck‘, ‘Caught‘, ‘Delilah‘ and ‘What Kind Of Man‘ were aired – ‘What Kind Of Man’ is thought to have earmarked as the first single. The album will succeed 2011’s UK number one ‘Ceremonials‘.
Meanwhile, Florence & The Machine were tipped last week by bookmakers Paddy Power as one of the new favourites to headline Glastonbury 2015. With odds of 8/1, they’re considered third favourites to be precise, behind AC/DC and Foo Fighters.
Paddy Power also still had odds of 12/1 for an unlikely Oasis reunion at Worthy Farm, but didn’t give a mention to Coldplay despite the usually reliable eFestivals site having the band listed as ‘To Be Confirmed’ for what would be a third headline performance.
