Foals<\/strong><\/a> have shared the track which is to be released for the first time as part of this year’s Record Store Day.
\n<\/p>\n‘Rain<\/strong><\/em>‘ can be traced back to the sessions for last year’s ‘What Went Down<\/strong>‘ album, and is due out as a 7″ split with the band’s take on Kevin Parker<\/strong> and Mark Ronson<\/strong>\u2019s collaboration \u2018Daffodils<\/strong><\/em>\u2019 along with a mass of other special releases on April 16th.<\/p>\nIndeed, this new track from Foals is joined by other one-off goodies from the likes of David Bowie<\/strong>, Slaves<\/strong>, Nirvana,<\/strong> The Libertines<\/strong>, Interpol<\/strong> and Florence & The Machine<\/strong>, all of which will help to support the traditional vinyl format once again next month.<\/p>\nRecord Store Day has been credited with kick-starting a significant boom in vinyl sales since its launch in 2007, with sales predicted to go past the two million mark during the twelve months of 2016.<\/p>\n
