Oasis added to forthcoming ‘HELP(2)’ album in aid of War Child

Oasis join the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Fontaines DC on ‘HELP(2)’.

Oasis have been added to the list of artists contributing to the forthcoming HELP(2) compilation album in aid of War Child.

Noel Gallagher led the way on the 1995 original along with Paul McCartney and Paul Weller, and now Oasis will be contributing to the follow-up which is due for release on March 6th with an exclusive 7″ vinyl of Acquiesce recorded live at Wembley Stadium during last year’s huge Live 25 comeback tour.

“The original HELP meant a lot to me and to have the opportunity, given the current news cycle, to help galvanize our music community into doing something as unarguably positive as helping children in war zones seemed like a no brainer,” producer James Ford has said.

The experience of making the album itself has been very powerful, and dare I say life affirming for me personally, against the backdrop of a very difficult year. I’m extremely proud of the results and of the efforts made by all involved. I can’t wait for people to hear this very special record.
