Amanda Bergman by Julia Mård
New music from Amanda Bergman and Rachel Chinouriri brought some of the favourite tracks on Live4ever’s radar this week.
Amanda Bergman was at ABBA’s old Stockholm studio base Atlantis Metronome for the recording of her new album ’embraced for a second as we die’.
It’s been announced with two tracks, ‘mexico’ and ‘is this how you said you’d be gone’, which are streaming online now – the latter about, ‘the stunned stillness after sudden loss, how loss and grief sometimes rearranges your life’.

Rachel Chinouriri has shared her new track Little House – one which was, ‘the first song that inspired the entire project’, that became the Little House EP initially unveiled back in April.
“It didn’t feel right to not have it complete the entire thing. I am happy to share my journey as someone who used to be quite closed from all the betrayal from previous relationships or situationships.”
Stella Donnelly has worked with bandmate Jack Gaby on the official video for Standing Ovation; ‘He went crazy with the special effects which made me lose my mind laughing so we decided to keep it all in there’, she’s said.
After the release of Love And Fortune last month, given a four-star review from Live4ever, Donnelly is due to head out on tour around Australia during February next year, and will be in the UK the following month for a run of shows which includes a stop in Leeds at The Wardrobe.

Dave has premiered the official video for Chapter 16 following the release of his new album The Boy Who Played The Harp last month.
The tracks features Kano who along with the likes of James Blake and Tems was one of several guest contributors to the LP.

Loyle Carner has shared a live video for Purpose, recorded during his sold-out, four-night run at the Brixton Academy in London following the release of this year’s Hopefully album.
That touring is set to continue with the second of two shows at Manchester’s Warehouse Project tonight, leading into a run of Australasian dates starting at Auckland’s Great Hall on November 30th.

Overmono duo Tom and Ed Russell boarded their tour bus after a gig at Manchester’s Warehouse Project, embarked on an impromptu recording session, and have today released the result, Paradise Runner.
The track’s foundation is a sample of Monifah’s All I Want, and aims to capture the spirit of relentless touring which has taken in various headline and festival shows this year, those including Glastonbury when their take on High Contrast’s If We Ever proved to be a highlight.
