Hak Baker has released the third single from his forthcoming debut album Worlds End FM.

“We thought we was big, big boys, going to MC at these little clubs in Romford,” he reflected upon the release of Doolally. “Don’t forget that Moet cost 30 quid back then so we were having it large.”

After a recent support slot with Pete Doherty at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Baker will be a part of Jamie T’s line-up at Finsbury Park on June 30th.

Nature TV have shared their first single of the year, Illusions.

It’s the starting point for a new EP which is due to be released in the autumn, while UK tour dates are booked this month supporting Chappaqua Wrestling and in headline form during October.

“Illusions is about how sometimes nothing is as it seems and there can be a facade over everything,” vocalist Guy Bangham said. “Sometimes it can feel impossible to focus on one thing with so many distractions and illusions that send you off down the rabbit hole. It’s crazy out there and it’s only getting weirder, so remember to work on things you can actually work on and not to worry about all the mad stuff.”

BEZ and Jonah Swilley have shared their latest Revival Season cut for Heavenly Recordings.

Chop is following the Outernational mixtape which was released to coincide with their appearance at this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.

“This one came together naturally, and gives you a look into future lyrical and production themes coming from us,” the duo said. “The video happened the same way, just us walking through downtown Nashville making people uncomfortable.”

“Sign of the Times examines the human obsession with violence, and how we have all become desensitised to the horrors we witness online through the growth of social media,” Gurriers have said of their second single.

Fresh off an appearance at Great Escape last weekend, the band will be next out at 2000 Trees Festival in July, while an appearance at Latitude is also coming up that month.

And later on this there’ll be an appearance at the London leg of Pitchfork Festival.

Meryl Streek worked at Darklands with Daniel Doherty on If This Is Life, a standalone release following last year’s debut album 796.

“In my mind, it’s a straightforward pop song while still holding onto the same Meryl message,” he said. “It’s written about the current state of Ireland and how the housing crisis is affecting families across the country on a massive scale.”

Longtime collaborators Molly Vulpyne and Phil Wyer feature on the track along with Radiators From Space guitarist Pete Holidai.

Saloon Dion‘s debut EP Muckers is out now on Mucker Records.

Containing the songs Happiness, You Want More and Heaven Sent, it’s led off by I Don’t Feel – one of Live4ever’s favourite tracks of the year so far.

“I Don’t Feel is a song about being reluctant to seek help from others,” they said of it. “What it isn’t, is a song about having no feeling, but more of choosing what to feel and when to feel it. It speaks of the barriers we all put up to protect ourselves, no matter the damage they may do in the long run.”
