FLO were on the Day 1 bill at Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
FLO and The 1975 are among the artists kicking off our coverage from Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee.
The former are heading into the festival season after beginning 2023 with numerous industry accolades, including the BRITs Rising Star award and first place on the BBC’s Sound Of… poll.
“Wow, we did it,” the group responded to their BBC win. “To win this accolade not even a year after we released our debut single Cardboard Box is wild.”
We feel so connected to our British music roots winning the BBC Sound Of and admire the artists who have come before us, especially our gal Pinkpantheress winning last year! Thank you to everyone who voted for us and put girl groups back on the map.
